5 swimsuits to splurge or save on this summer!

I think all women can attest to the struggle of finding the perfect swimsuit for summer. Whether you like one-piece suits, bikinis, are a mom, or not, finding a suit is *typically* a dreaded shopping trip. Today I am sharing my favorite swimsuit lineup, old and new.

Some things you don’t ever need to splurge on- things like socks. But sometimes you need to splurge on things that just make you feel good. And swimsuits are one of those things. This year, I found a few swimmies that were definitely worth the investment. This one pictured below is from Albion and I absolutely love it! I got this print during a sale, so the exact match is sold out, but I will link a similar style. I have a long torso, and I am obsessed with high-waisted suits. I also prefer medium to full coverage of the bum, ya know, being a mom and all! This suit fits ALL my criteria!

Same exact style top and bottoms <but in a different print.

Next up is another splurge suit! This one below is from Becca swim at Nordstrom. It’s a one-piece, and again, it meets all my swimsuit requirements: long-torso, full coverage, shows just enough skin! Definitely worth the splurge. shop this one >here<.

This next suit is also a splurge. However, I bought it a few years ago from Victoria’s Secret Pink swimsuit line, and it was WELL WORTH the investment, just based on the use I have gotten out of it. I think I spent about $100? I have worn this suit every summer for like 4 years- and it will continue to be a part of my swimsuit lineup. The bottom is high waisted and has cute criss-cross scrappy details on the sides. The top is also super cute, although it leaves funky tan lines. Unfortunately, I do not have a link to this suit because Victoria’s Secret discontinued this line 🙁

Ok finally….the suits to SAVE on! Spending $20-30ish on a suit is typically a risky move. I got lucky this year with this one pictured below from Amazon. This suit was under $30, and I love it! The retro fit is so cute, and again, it’s high waisted and #momlife approved. However, I will say that this suit isn’t the best if you plan on really swimming or spending a lot of time in the water. There really isn’t much support of the girls. It does have removable pads, but it just ties around the neck, so if you have a larger chest, you might be showing a good amount of side boob (not that there’s anything wrong with that 🙌🏽).

The last suit I’m sharing is also from Amazon! It is Cupshe brand, and I was also nervous about ordering this one. However, I really like the fit and style! It fit my long torso, and offered full coverage of the bum. It has a tie back, and a zipper in the back, up near the neck. This suit was also under $30!

So, there it is! My current swimsuit lineup! I have a few more suits that may make it to the blog closer to summer, but these are my favorites for now! For reference, I am 5’9, and typically wear a 6-8 or medium.
