Dressing up the bump

Pregnancy. It’s a beautiful thing. It’s crazy to think that women just GROW humans inside of them. It’s amazing. The concept of pregnancy is beautiful. It’s the behind the scenes that’s not so pretty. Last night I got up no less than 17 times to pee. And I have to get up that many times because the minute my bladder starts to fill, it increases the pressure on my lower back and causes severe pain. Glamorous, huh? I will bear this burden though because it means I get to bring our daughter into this world and for that we are immensely blessed.

Now pregnancy comes with many changes to your body, and dressing these changes is not always easy. Honestly, if I could get away with only wearing over-the-belly leggings and long tunic tops for the entire 9 months, I would be ALL over that. But you just can’t do that unfortunately *rolls eyes*. Belly bands and long maternity camis have been my best friend. I got away with only buying 1 pair of maternity jeans, and now that I am 37 weeks, I’m glad to say I got along without having to break the bank in maternity clothing purchases.

However, there is one online boutique that has theeee cutest maternity clothing, and they sent me the most adorable cardigan to dress up my bump! Talking about PinkBlush! I love this site, and honestly it was hard to restrain myself from ordering a bunch of stuff after they sent me the maternity cardigan in these pictures. I did, however, order a nursing gown to wear at the hospital after delivery, cuz I’m not about that hospital gown life.

I am loving this cardi! I dressed it up a little with jeans and a cute top, but I’m looking forward to rocking it after baby is born with some leggings and a cami! It’s just so easy to slip on and it’s so comfortable. Another bonus….I’m 5’9, and sometimes tops just don’t work for me because I can’t stand when the arms are too short. I don’t have that problem with this cardi!

Seriously guys, long cardigans are so versatile, and I’m so glad to have this during my pregnancy, and I know I will wear it after as well!
